Fresh Fish

Whitefish

Considered one of the best eating freshwater fish there is. Because the fish lives in Icy Northern Lakes, the meat has a high fat content and tends to be firmer. The delicate, mild flavor is more like salmon than trout and the flesh is a medium firm with a large flake.

Salmon

Has a dense meaty texture, a rich fatty consistency, and a full fresh fish flavor with a hint of sweetness. High in Omega 3 fatty acid.

Walleye

$22.00/lb

A freshwater fish whose finely, flaked flllets have a “subtle, sweet, flavor.” Its texture is “firm yet delicate and moist.”

Lake Trout

$14.00/lb

Medium fish flavor. The flesh is firm, rich in flavor, and white to orange in color. It has a stronger taste than walleye or whitefish.

Perch

$31.00/lb

Similar to walleye, though considerably smaller in size, perch is prized for its mouthwatering flavor and tender texture. Perfect for a Friday night fish-fry, you and your guests will savor every sweet, buttery morsel. Just make sure you get enough!

Smoked Whitefish

Smoked whitefish is hot smoked and is moist with a smoky, slightly salted flavor, and soft texture. This golden, white-fleshed, fresh water fish from the cold waters of the Great Lakes provides a delectable smoky flavor that is perfect for any meal.

Smoked Salmon

Smoked Salmon is opaque and flaky and has a stronger smoky flavor. Brined in a weak salt and water solution which enhances the flavor, moisture, and texture, but is less salty than cold smoked.

Smoked Lake Trout

Smoked Lake Trout is cured and flavored with smoke burning aromatic wood. The smoke from the smoldering wood gives the lake trout a mild flavor, and a tender moist texture. Flavor is subtle and intoxicatingly smoky.
